Build new power means we used to have, lost it and now build it up again.

Easter. Jesus was crucified on Friday and placed in a tomb. All hopes for disciples left after crucification and disciples thought they will return home and carry on with their lives.

But on the morning of Easter Sunday, group of women met Jesus. They ran to tell the disciples. 

The disciples were gathered in the upper room and they met the women. And the disciples hurt the news they did not believe it. In the afternoon Jesus met with two disciples and in the evening met with 10 disciples.

 

Jesus met the disciples a game many times before He ascended up into the heavens

Today`s topic is about discouragement. , Namely Peter. 

Discouragement comes from:

1) loss of all hope.

2) our sins

3) not succeeding and failures

4) not loved by any.

 

Peter is one of the loved disciples of Jesus.

One day he denied Jesus.

Ben Peter realize his rejection he lost all energy and Hope, respect for himself.

Jesus told him that he will deny Jesus three times, Peter did not believe Jesus.

 

Imagine we are one of the disciples of Jesus, following Him for 3 years watching miracles happen. Then seeing Jesus crucified and laid in the tomb. Everything seemed helpless.

But the morning when Jesus resurrected the disciples see New Hope.

 How did God help create new power? (Peter)

1) The resurrection of Jesus

3) Jesus gives and builds experience.

   John 21.6

4) Jesus revives the Love.

John 21.5

5) Jesus offers work with respect and confidence.  John 21. 15-17

6) Gives confidence about future.
