David was respected for his wisdom and courage.

David ruled over Jerusalem for 33 years

Before that there were problems in Jerusalem.

The two mountains one being zeon was occupied by jebusites

Jebusites were a threat to David.

Three problems to overcome the jebusites

1) location. Their position is good, on top of two mountains and very hard to reach

2) history. Joshua15.63

Nobody has done it before. There were no living examples. 

Since Joshua times no one can overcome them.

Paul always stop because they were thinking it is impossible.

3) looking down.

Enemies looked down on David`s army.

The jebusites knew that they were strong

Do not be affected by people looking down on you.

David thinks the opposite.

Learn to hate negativity. We will change

 

David sent one person who went through the water candles of jebusites to check out.

In the end they climb through the shelf and narrow tunnel and took the defenders by surprise.

The problem that is bigger for us- if we can conquer it it will become our strength.

Lessons learnt

1) because we believe, there`s no need to fear things we see outside

2) because we believe we can overcome our problems

3) because we believe the difficulties become our strengths.
