The Bible is written for us to lead our lives, to teach us, comfort and guidance, to make our lives better.

God is like a One-Stop service

We move forward in life not alone, but with God, our creator.

Everything we have today and experience today, it`s prepared by God. And will not forsake us or allow us to fall

We have to learn to have faith and trust in God.

 

God`s promise- that God will be with us.

He will not forsake us or feel us, or allow us to fail.

Lesson- we need to learn and accept God`s teachings, and hold on to the promise.

1) be strong and trust in the Lord

2) do not be afraid and move forward with God

The only thing that God wants is our heart

Why is our heart important?

Because we have other plans and aspirations

We have our thinking

Our heart has its emotions

 

Luke 6.45

The lessons we have experience will have both good and bad experiences

God says for us to be strong and push on, do not be afraid.

Israelites was slaves in egypt, so God asked Moses to save them

Our hearts may be slaves to our desires of the world. Turning us bitter if we do not achieve them

God is forgiving. Allow the new Israelites and Caleb and Joshua to enter Canaan.

God wants us to be like the new Israelites- listen closely to god, and not being stubborn.

 

Three things that the Israelites shouldn`t have done

1) have the heart that thinks it`s difficult ( impossible)

Saw that came in was prosperous but says it`s difficult to overcome the people which is the enemies

Numbers13.33

Saw that enemies are bigger than what God can do. Jeremiah32.27

"I am the lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?"

 

2) have the heart that always thinks that it cannot be done.

Matthew 19.26

"Jesus looked at them and said, with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible"

3) Having a heart that complains.
