Living a powerful and courageous life.
Numbers 31.1-6
Joshua and Caleb, were two of the spies that told Moses that they can enter the land of milk and honey by conquering them through God`s strength.
However, people believed the other 10 spies and ended up with one drink in the wilderness for another 40 years because of God`s wrath.
The name of Joshua has a good meaning
A person that leads others to salvation.
Joshua has positive thinking.
Moses told Joshua there is no need to fear and Joshua gives positive feedback.
Before entering Canaan, Moses asked Joshua to meet up with him in the mountains.
Joshua had to continue the responsibility of bringing the people in.
How to live a courageous life? Where to get the courage from?
Moses` advice to Joshua:
1) be strong and courageous
Do not fear as God is behind them
Do not stop being industrious
Have the heart off the soldier.
2) do not be afraid.
There is a possibility of danger when somebody says do not do something.
3) listen to God
Because God follows you.
Learn to listen to the voice of God.
There are basically three voices
-Satan
-ourselves
-God
Listen and follow God`s word and instructions.
Example got us Joshua to walk around Jericho and on the 7th day all the walls fell.
