Stewardship. The use of spiritual gifts.
1Peter 4:7-11

We are molded by God, God is our potter.
As a pottery we may be used in the kitchen we may be of high quality in the showcase etc
But we are all molded by God.
In israel, during the rainy season, everything is good. The crops grow. Many people are converted during that period.
The end is coming. How do we live our lives? They have to be of value.
Jesus taught during His last days to prepare for the coming.
Stewardship- we need to make the things from God to be a blessing and profit.
Like a pharmacist salesman who brings the samples to hospitals to receive orders.
In the Bible a person who received one bag of gold and hid it and did not make any profit was chided by his master.
A steward is someone who uses the resources from God to get more results (believers)
One day God will take account of what we do with our wealth / gifts etc
God gives us time now but we will have to face God and show Him what we have done with what God has given us.
It`s between God and us. No one else is involved.

Peter teaches us:
1) Have awareness (7, 2,3）
Follow after Jesus
Live this life for Jesus
2) wait / pray and look out (7)
Do not be drunk
3) let the love of God cover and protect our hearts. (8)
4) serve God using the spiritual gifts (9-11)
There are about 25 types of spiritual gifts.
-use gifts with complimentary feelings (9)
-use gifts for results (10)
-use gifts with consistency and sincerity (10)
-use gifts with good attitude and care (11)
-use gifts with utmost ability and effort (11)
God gives us what`s best for us. God also wants the very best for us.
