God gives us everything even though we do not deserve it
Titus is a pastor who worked in the island of Crete together with timothy.
The people in Crete were gluttons and drinkers. Paul sent Titus there to tell them about God`s blessings even though they do not deserve them, looking at the lives that they are leading.
The grace of God has appeared and offers salvation to all people
The mercies and the love of God, and the grace of God is numerous.
God wants us to share an experience the love that God has given to us.
God wants to use us to show the love that God has for the people.
Paul told Titus to pass the message to the people that one day God will return for them and bring us back to His kingdom.
God will help us to throw away our sins often receiving the love from God.
What do we have to throw away?
1. Bad thinking
Spirit that does not worship God
Example stop buying lottery, stop smoking, stop drinking
2. The difficulties in this world
People struggling to be rich, to be successful,
Materialism changes the people`s thinking.
We should change from leaving for ourselves to living for God.
Things we need to do:
We have the consciousness of what to do
a) that is righteous in the eyes of God.
b) to be honest with God in what we do and what we say and teach
We have to be fair and righteous
c) follow God`s teachings and walking in his steps
We should follow our Christian Life as fun of waiting for Jesus coming and also being joyful in the waiting being joyful in serving God, and being joyful in our offerings to God
We are joyful no matter what problems we may face
David says to put them in front of God and God will not abandon us.
We will have the joy and peace in waiting for God to help us and to bless us.
- We need to preserve our righteousness
- to ask God to cleanse us
- to ask God to check our lives and remind us about our wrongdoings
- to show others that we have mercy and love for others.
