God wants us to be joyful all the time.
Christians to be faithful and happy
When we are joyful, we can be the magnet to attract other people to God.
Joy comes from the heart.
Life is not always joyful. We have events that may make us stressed.
But Bible says to be joyful all the time.
Even during bad times because God is behind us.
Apostle Paul (Acts 16:22-24)
Was told to move to Macedonia.
Paul was put in jail for exorcizing a soothsayer who cannot use his power after that. Paul was a servant of God but yet he was also put into jail.
This shows that while we are being children of God we may still have trouble.
Paul was whipped but he was not bitter. His faith was strong.
Paul was in jail and he was praying and singing and praising and worshiping God.
He was put in the underground but he used his mouth to sing praises to God
Acts 16:25
When we come to our wit`s end, we can sing praises to God. All song was of praise and worship, showing his faith in God.
Then there was an earthquake and all the locks were opened. God opened the gates for the prisoners.
Everything is planned by God.
The prison God was shocked and wanted to kill himself but Paul stopped him.
The guard saw the love in Paul and Paul brought him to God.
People turn to God when they face problems.
Paul continue on his journey and later was put in jail again in Rome.
When he was in jail, the chances to meet and reach out to people increased!
If we are able to sing praises to God during the bad times, it will be easy to sing during the great times.
