Once an eagle`s egg is mixed with the ducks ache, when it is born it will behave like a duck and cannot fly.
One day the eagle was told that it was an eagle and that it can fly, and it started to learn to fly.
Christians are sometimes like this as well. we think that we are ducks and we cannot fly.
Eagles are the birds of prey that fly the highest ever.
By nature we do not have special abilities. But God can change us from being ducks to becoming eagles.
To find God we go through the cross. Repent, confess your sins and accept Jesus as the savior, and cross over to God`s side.
With these we will have a new life.
Our lives will be changed.
Six changes in our lives once we accept God:
1) we experience God`s love Romans 5:5And hope that`s not put us to shame, because God`s love has been poured out into our hearts through the holy spirit, who has been given to us.
Jesus sacrificed his life on the cross for us.
That is the biggest and greatest love of all.
And we love God with all our hearts too.
We also learn to love others and to forgive others because of the very special Love we received from God.
2) Peace. Romans 5:1
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ
We have the assurance that God is behind
Assurance that we can speak directly to Him.
Now when we do wrong we feel bad through the conscience provided by the Holy Spirit.
God can remove our guilty feelings to transform us to become an eagle.
3) see the light. 1 Cor 2:9
However, as it is written:
What no eyes have seen,
What no ear has heard,
And what no human mind has conceived
The things God has prepared for those who love him.
Our eyes are opened.
The Holy Spirit teaches us as well
4) become more attractive
2 Cor 3:18
Do not deceive yourself. If any of you think you are Wise by the standards of this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise.
The more we grow in Christ we become more humble, caring, kind, and become a better person.
5) we will have some skill and competence
1Cor 12:11
All these are the work of one and the same spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
We all have our own talents and they are different per person.
But when we become Christians we have a new set of talents
There are a total of 24 talents that are available
6) we receive salvation
John 14:1
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believed in god, believe also in me.
We are not afraid of death, as we will have eternal life with God.
