The Debts of Love
( Romans 13:8-10.   1 John 4:8-11)

Paul wrote in Romans 13, God gives us the free will of choice. God also put us under the jurisdiction of higher authorities.
People are given power over others. Parents have power over their children, bosses have power over their subordinates,
pastors have the power to take care of the spiritual health of the members. God gives different people the power
to lead, and the rest of us are under their authority and protection.

V7. The Bible teaches us about obligations. We are obliged to do certain things, or give certain things.
The Bible teaches us to observe our obligations. Example when we get people to work, we are obligated to pay
them their salary. The obligation of people to pay taxes. as citizens, so that the government can maintain the country.

Jesus was asked by the Jews about Caesar... whether they should give their money to Caesar.
Jesus asked them the face of the coin has whose face? Since its Caesar`s face, then the money will
have to go to him! Caesar protected the Jews during his reign actually. He eradicated all the cruel sea pirates.
People have different talents and gifts, so we have to pay respect to the person who performed the duty.
The dentist who cleaned our teeth, the mechanic who repaired the car...
Romans 13:8. We should never be indebted to anyone... Let no debt remain outstanding,
except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.
The debts of love are perpetual, and never ending.
1 John 4:8-11
We are indebted to God. God brings us out from the fire, so we are forever indebted to Him.
And we will also have to help one another as believers in God.

1) We are indebted to God  Matthew 18:23-35
God forgives us for our deadly sins, so we should also forgive others.
2) Our help and assistance for others comes from the grace of God. It should come naturally
and not be forced or compelled. 2 Corinthians 8:9
3) Do it with happiness and free will   2 Corinthians 9:7
4) The needy get blessings  2 Corinthians 9:12   and the thanksgiving is extended throughout the entire church
5) Give only according to our ability to give.   2 Corinthians 8:11
6) To give and to receive at the same time. It`s a reversal. 1 Corinthians 8:14
