God opens a way for believers to have a direct way in reaching Him, but our sins separate us from God. Life without God is like
a lake without water, without the real happiness. (21) Before we did not want God and sin makes us an enemy with God.
We become self-centered. The only way for us is the cross on Calvary.
There are 3 conditions we have to follow: (1) Repent so as to throw away our sins. We cannot do it by ourselves. God prepares
for us, to repent and ask for forgiveness on the cross., and we give up our sinful past. (2) Trust in the atonement of our sins.
(22) (3) We have to live our lives daily in faith, treating each day like a holy Communion, and stand firm in our faith. (23)
Standing Firm In Our Faith
(23) If you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel.
This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
5 Ways to stand firm in our faith
1. Believe in the Holy Bible (1 Thessalonians 2:13) It is God`s Word. We use it to teach us to run our lives. We will also not go astray but be comforted.
2. Believe in God (Hebrews 11:6) Believe in the presence of God, and that we have a Father, and He is the creator
3. Believe in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9) Believe with our heart that He died for our sins. This is different from many religions, even Jews.
4. Believe in the Gospel. (Romans 1:16) Christ dying on the cross is God`s Will.
5. The Resurrection of Jesus. (John 20:29) and from then we have a relationship with Jesus.
The Cross on Calvary Romans 6:23. ..For the wages of sin is death.... and Jesus receives our sins on our behalf. We have to walk
forward with God, and it is the Will of God for us. We need to believe in the Cross, and not discontinue our faith.
We have to continue on our faith, established and firm. We should always be thankful. God let us be a new person,
and we are forgiven, and we will be received by God one day to be with Him. Continue to believe in the Gospel.
