Background Jesus Heals a boy possessed by an impure spirit

Considering from these 3 people.

1. Father of the possessed boy.  He has only one son, the demon will manifest anytime, trying to kill the boy, by drowning him, etc

The family have to take care of the boy constantly because of the need to watch over the son. He kneels down to Jesus to ask 

for help. shows that it has already reached the limits. Parents with a sick child is very difficult to have peace in life.

2. Person who informed the father that Jesus Saves! A person who witnesses to another person about God will be blessed by

God. We should never stop witnessing to others about God.  From personal experience, the speaker was first introduced to

Christianity by a book written by Mary Jones. It helped to "plant a seed" in her which later lead her to following Christ. We should

proclaim and witness about Jesus. The world is now in chaos, and we hear bad news everyday. People need to listen to good news. 

So let us continue to witness for God.

3. The teenage boy who was possessed. If he was 15-17, he would have been in school, have friends, play games and help family with chores.

But the demon possessed him and cause him to be deaf and dumb. And the demon attacks anytime.

Let us continue to live by the Holy Spirit.

We have to continue to watch over our lives.

Satan has never changed, and will always harm people, and take away the peace, our health and comfort.

We as Christians are not in the possessed boy`s position. We are in the light. But we still need to continue to

watch out. Just like a vaccinated person will still have to be careful. We may stray away i we are not careful.

Look at what weaknesses we have, and we sacrifice it to God and ask God to guide us, as Satan may attack us through

our weaknesses. 

Romans 6:13  Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been

brought from death to life, and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.

In Revelations 12:15, the serpent spewed water from the mouth. Water here refers to the voice, ie the things that we say. 

Nowadays due to social media, Satan can use words to control our minds. The only truth in the world is the Bible. As there

is no unity in the world now, Satan fills people with untruths. We as Christians should continue to drink from the living water.

 

When the disciples Matthew and Luke could not cast out the demon, Jesus chides them for their lack of faith. The father of the 

child says to Jesus, "If you can..." Jesus says, everything is possible for one who believes! The father immediately replied, 

"I do believe, help me overcome my disbelief.." We can learn from here... sometimes our faith may falter, but we have to ask God

for forgiveness and to give us strength to overcome our disbelief. God is never angry with us. Jesus says, "Whoever believes,

Everything is possible."

-  We have to believe so we will receive. Mark 9:23

-  We must grab Jesus by His legs, in real belief

-  We must thank God for everything.

There is only one Superhero, Jesus Christ. Jesus can help us in everything. We should believe and continue to work and serve our God.
