A Moody was a successful Sunday school leader, but he decided to go Great Britain and study church methods there. A conversation he had with Henry Varley, a well known evangelist of the day,marked a new era of his life. The two were seated in public park in Dublin when Varley said, “The world has yet to see what God will do with and for and though and in and by the man who is fully consecrated to Him.”
Moody reflected on the words: He said “a man “ ; he did not say , a great man, nor a .earned man, nor a smart man.” I am a man, and it lies with the man himself whether he will or will not make the entire and full consecration , I will try my utmost to be that man.”
